Thailand Wanderer started because most travel sites cover the same places: Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang Mai. There's nothing wrong with those destinations — but Thailand has 77 provinces, and most of them are genuinely worth visiting.
I live in Bangkok and spend my weekends exploring the places most tourists never hear about. Lampang, Nan, Phrae, Yasothon — cities with stunning temples, incredible food, and almost no crowds.
How this site works
Content is based on personal visits and interviews with locals
Weather data comes from 5 years of historical records
Prices and tips are researched and dated so you know when they were last verified
Every page shows its last updated date
Data sourced from OpenStreetMap, Wikivoyage, and Wikidata for accuracy
